Once you tell it it's a false positive it will remember in future. For me I set to every 10 minutes of monitor and 25 hours for scan.Ĭons: UnHackMe does give a lot of false positives initially, this is not for the novice user. It's not truly realtime protection with UnHackMe, but something halfway in between, and you can set how often to monitor your system, as well as scan. UnHackMe does also have a pre-boot scan option. Defender missed the malware, and Malwarebytes (paid version) also missed it. If I had had UnHackMe from the start I'm sure it would have caught it also, all of it. UnHackMe caught a remnant left behind of a bad piece of malware I had gotten that an install of Avast, and its offline scan got. Pros: A great option to have if only just using Defender, even good option to have if using Malwarebytes.
